Chas Accredited Contractor

As one of the organisations that developed SSIP, the Common Assessment Standard, and the core criteria of the Approved Code of Practice, which supports CDM 2015, CHAS is one of the most widely recognised accreditation schemes in the UK.

Contract Flooring Association

Members of the Association include Flooring Contractors, Manufacturers, Distributors and Consultants– both large and small, operating from locations throughout the UK. Members work across a wide range of flooring finishes including carpets, underlays, vinyls, rubber, timber, adhesives and flooring accessories.

The Contract Flooring Association was formed in 1974 by the amalgamation of three small flooring associations: The Floor Covering Contractors Association, whose members specialised primarily in smooth floor coverings: the Association of Flooring Contractors (hardwood flooring) and the Carpet Planners Association.

The CFA's membership accounts for a significant proportion of the quality companies in the UK commercial flooring market.
