The Queens Bed Chamber

Historic Royal Palaces (Kew)

In my capacity as a conservation project manager for Historic Royal Palaces, we have engaged Along the Grain on numerous occasions to undertake timber floor restoration and refinishing at Hampton Court Palace and The Great Pagoda at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew. On each of these projects, they have had to liaise with a wide selection of professional members of the design team and coordinate their work packages within tight operational and budgetary constraints. They have the ability to deliver quality workmanship on time and within the allocated budgets.

Andrew Scranage has always been willing to offer professional and impartial advice and strives to address the client’s needs whilst being mindful of the business opportunities that are presented.

Along the Grain are a valued member of our tender list and I have no hesitation in considering them for future works.
