Preparation & reinforcement
Preparing and reinforcing the subfloor prior to timber floor installation is paramount for the stability and longevity of the floor.
Along the Grain subfloor preparation works include inspecting for weaknesses, damage, movement and bounce, as well as providing damp proof membrane services which ensure up to 98% humidity proofing and self-levelling latex in readiness for accurate floor covering installation.
We can repair, replace or reinforce timber subfloor joists to ensure they are structurally sound and can support new floor coverings, as well as install ply subfloors where required.
We also undertake the uplifting of existing original flooring, levelling necessary joists underneath and reinstating a solid subfloor, meeting the industry standards for new floor coverings.
